Oakmere Caterham headed down south to Thruxton this weekend. Nicknamed the "fastest circuit in the UK” it is easy to see why with an average speed of 93mph in an academy car!
Tom Brown in Academy green group was overjoyed with a 4th place finish out of a 28 strong grid this time. After starting 12th on lap 3 Tom had been knocked back to 14th but managed to work his way through to 4th with one lap to go in the short 20 minute race. His best result to date!
Jonny Jarratt in Roadsport also had a great weekend finishing 11th in race one from 16th on the grid. He then brought the car home 10th in race 2. A great result in a hugely competitive environment with experienced racers!
