On Saturday 31st October the UK Government announced plans for a new four-week lockdown in England, once again forcing non-essential retail, including car showrooms, to temporarily close between Thursday 5th November and Wednesday 2nd December, as part of a National effort to decrease the number of COVID-19 cases.
What does this mean for Sales, Service and After Sales?
Our Service and Parts Departments are allowed to remain open as an essential service, so if you have a current booking with us, it will still go ahead, and there is no need to cancel. If you would like to book your vehicle in for a Service, please call us on 01606 41481, or contact us as we are open for business as normal.
Although our car showrooms will be physically closed, the Government is allowing non-essential retail to operate ‘Click and Collect’ and ‘Home Delivery’ services; which is a service we have been offering since re-opening in June, and one which we will continue to offer throughout November and early December. Our Sales Teams are available, and waiting to take your call; they can assist with part-exchange enquiries, questions about finance, they can provide you with personalised video footage of new and used cars, and they can still deliver vehicles purchased via Click & Collect.
